Join us for a 4-hour workshop where you'll craft your own woven shoulder bag/market tote. Designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike, this hands-on session offers an opportunity to learn essential techniques in 3-dimensional weaving to create a form. Under the guidance of textile artist and educator Jessie Mordine Young, you'll master the fundamentals of weaving while bringing your vision to life, resulting in a personalized art object that reflects your personal style.
Please note! Everyone works at different paces, and though the majority of students will be able to complete their bags in the allotted 4 hours, some may not! All materials, pdf resources and a live office hour with Jessie will be provided to each student.
$135 per person. Max occupancy is 25.
