Create a spectrum of delicious colors from everyday foods foraged from The Sea Ranch kitchen. Artist Margaret Seelie will show you how to extract color from avocados and onions and then modify the dye to create new colors. You'll dye a tea towel and napkins.
$130 per person. All materials included.
About the Instructor:
Margaret Seelie is an artist and writer based in the Bay Area. She founded Seelie Studio, a natural dye company, and Seawitches, a zine for water people. She is passionate about creating space to deepen your connection to nature through creativity. Her favorite material to make dye from is purple sea urchins.
